Moving forward in Lima, Peru to birth a new local body of believers

Jesus, our partner in the ministry and leader of the church plant in Lima, continues to receive confirmation from God that a new local body of Peruvian believers is to be birthed. When God reveals to us what He is going to do, He expects us to join Him. To obey is to expereince Him in even greater ways. Nothing can explain the quickening pace of this new church plant except God is at work!

It would have been easy for Jesus to ignore God and continue to live a life of Christian mediocrity. But he chose the exciting life of obedience and faith!

He continues to build up the group of men who he is discipling. There are now nine of them and they are meeting for their bible study in Jesus' restaurant. His two daughters are at one of the universities in Lima. So Jesus is exploring the possibility of starting a bible study with college students on or near the campus.

Young couples with children abound in Lima, and Jesus has a desire to begin contacting many to begin new bible studies with them.

In anticipation of many of those being contacted not having bibles, WorldReach is supporting the purchase of them for use in this new work. Please pray for Jesus, his family, and all of those who God is drawing to Himself through this church start.
