God continues the harvest in Romania

This morning we had the joy of being with the children and middle school age young people in Rovinari, Romania (pictured left). It was a joy to listen to them as they sang songs praising our Lord. Many are songs adapted from the US and we recognized the familiar melodies.

We had time together with the middle schoolers (including some of the older elementary age children) and shared the story of Zacchaeus with them. We related to them that just as Jesus saw Zacchaeus, knew his name, wanted to be in his life, and accepted his invitation to be part of his life - it is the same for us. Just as Zacchaeus had to make the choice to invite Jesus into his home, we must make the same choice to invite Him into our life as Lord and Savior. We praise the Lord for those who responded to this truth, repented, and believed the good news.

Curtisoara was another of three villages where we held meetings today. Once again, the Spirit of God was at work to convict and convince people regrading their sin. Included in those who accepted Christ were the teenage daughter and son of the missionary pastor (pictured upper right).

Your continued prayers are being answered. Please do not forsake praying for us as we end our ministry in Oltenia after the morning services tomorrow, drive back to southwestern Romania to preach an evangelistic service in another town where more than 600 are expected, and begin our long journey back on Monday to our family, friends, and fellow believers in the US.

God continues His harvest in Romania. To Him be the glory!
