[Guest blogger Clay Kitchings - Honduras March 2008 team member]
Yesterday afternoon (Monday) and last night, we shared the gospel in San Jose. The travel is slow and extremely bumpy. It took over two hours crammed into vehicles. (Sorry Romania Missionaries -- we have a larger cram factor than you do even for a Dacia!)
We showed the Passion of Christ movie on the side of a school building with our electric generator -- they have no electricity in San Jose. They need our prayers -- until recently, there was no Evangelical influence in this town. There remains much spiritual opposition. The enemy of our souls would prefer that the Gospel not be preached. Fortunately, he was unsuccessful last night in his goals.
Today (Tuesday) we will travel to San Marcos after lunch to prepare to show the DVD once again. We will visit in homes and get to know people with the goal of sharing the gospel with them in ways that help them understand it as distinct from all other "religions," including Catholicism.
Please pray for us as we share!
