Pastor Teo and wife Cami to visit Athens, GA area

Since 1999, Prince Avenue Baptist Church and WorldReach ministries have been engaged in a partnership with Jibou Baptist Church in Romania. Throughout this time, Teofil Mihoc has been the pastor in Jibou. In fact, he began pastoring there after graduating from seminary just a few years before our first visit.

Rose Hill Baptist Church in Ashland, KY sent a team to Jibou at the same time we first traveled there. They have also remained engaged in a partnership with Jibou Baptist Church. The geographic area of ministry for the church in Jibou is so large, and resources so limited, that our partnerships have been a wonderful complement to each other.

When our Romania March 2008 team returned to America, Pastor Teo and his wife Camelia (nicknamed Cami) traveled to Ashland for their first ever visit to the US. They have been there these past two weeks.

On Friday (28 March), they will travel to Athens to spend time and fellowship with their extended church families at Prince Avenue Baptist Church, First Baptist Church Watkinsville, First Baptist Church Winder, and many friends who have traveled from other churches to minister with them in Romania.

Please pray that this will be a time of renewal, relaxation, and revival for this wonderful, Spirit filled couple of God who labor in difficult circumstances to fulfill the task the Lord Jesus has given them. Also, pray for their small children - Daniele and Emanuel - who are missing their Dad and Mom right about now.

If you want to visit with them, come to the Prince Avenue Christian School baseball game Friday evening (3/28) at the PACS campus, 7:00pm. They will be there. Also, Sunday morning (3/30) they will be participating in the Prince Avenue Baptist Church morning worship service.

Don't forget, by subscribing to the RSS feed in the left-hand navigation bar, you can stay connected with our blog to keep up with some of the events Teo and Cami will be attending.
